It’s GSS and even jewelry stores are on sale! Since gold is a good investment, Alvin and I are always joking if we can buy gold bullions instead (as if we have lots of money!). My mom, on the other hand is considering buying gold pieces here and sell them in the Philippines. But the problem is we do not know how to spot a real gold!

As for myself, I am not fond of yellow gold… I want white gold which is more expensive than yellow but has no resale value! I’ve been itching to buy a white gold eternity ring but having second thoughts since I cannot wear them at all since I am taking care of my little boy.

So now, I am a renewed person… instead of bags, I want jewelries that I can pass to my children. Hopefully, I’ll have a little girl… but not so soon! Oh, please!

As I have said, I went to PP to buy something for myself and of course for the little boy… Unfortunately, I was not able to buy something for myself since it was too late already but I bought 2 rompers, 2 shirts and 2 shorts for my little boy at Mothercare. My time was consumed looking for Aveeno Baby Wash and Shampoo and Aquaphor Healing Cream. Since TamTam had rashes issues before, I’ve been considering switching from Mustela to Aveeno. But the problem is, I cannot find the said products here in Singapore.

Anyways, I missed going out… I feel recharged though I was not able to buy new clothes for myself. I’ve been doing a lot of thinking if I should buy a fitness equipment rather than shopping for new clothes… Should ask my doctor first if I can now do some exercises for my flabby tummy.

I will go out today! Rain, rain go away! Please…

I will just go to PP… will check some clothes for my little boy and for myself! I am back in my pre-pregnancy weight but still, my clothes cannot fit me. Let’s just say that they fit me but I really look awful. Can I start taking alli? Honestly, I’ve been considering taking diet pills if I am not only breastfeeding.

Anyways, hopefully I can get good buys. Will check Mothercare and Isetan later. Excited!

I was checking for wedding invitations that may friend sent me through email when I got this in my Spam Folder… Mayday Shopping Privilege Exclusively for DBS Card Members. It’s from Club 21 again. Gosh, GSS is finally coming! So sad, I’ll be absent… or I’ll have a new shopping companion, my baby boy.

Alvin used to go to every IT show here in Singapore but then, he always goes home empty handed since he has nothing to buy… he is well satisfied with his gadgets and the very least that he can buy is another XBox game. Since it’s also an electronic show, we are contemplating to go. We want to buy an electric fan, kettle (still have to decide if electric or stove), hand dryers, vacuum cleaner, bottle and food warmer for the baby boy and thermometer. Gosh, still have so many things to buy! I just noticed that our list seems to be never ending…

Still thinking if Megatex is worth the trip… since Harvey Norman and Gain City are also having their sale.

Personal things that I’ll be needing to the hospital are complete… but still, I am not prepared to give birth, three more weeks and the baby boy is already in full term. Going out alone is not my thing now but still, I went to the sale since the place is just near Alvin’s office and I need to look for an alternative or should I say cheaper maternity/nursing bras. I checked Mothercare and Marks and Spencer but I don’t like their nursing bras, so expensive and I am looking for something similar to a T-shirt bra. Now, I realized that all maternity/nursing bras are just plain cotton with no form. Poorness! Anyways, I still bought a few pieces for my everyday wear. Oh my, this is motherhood: no ‘arte‘ and ‘porma‘ at all! This is so not me!

About the sale, I saw some good buys but I didn’t get anything since I don’t have any idea if I will be able to wear them after I give birth. And besides, I think I deserve a shopping therapy when the baby boy pops out in this world!

I went to Singapore Expo just for this sale event… hoping to find something for the little boy. I didn’t intend to buy something for myself since I have lots of stuffs that I haven’t used for a long time. I am actually planning to sell them (upon Alvin’s approval ). Alvin on the other hand, is not a fan of this brand since the size is too big for him.

The price? I think it’s a good deal already… considering the original price but don’t ask me how many hours I had to queue just to enter the hall and pay the said merchandise. And now I am wondering, is it really worth it?

NO more Expo Sale for now! Promise! And before I forget (I am becoming forgetful lately ), I still need to call the moving service / cargo service center… I need to send some of our stuffs in the Philippines.

Hay, temptations!

Body Shop is having a 4-day (March 11 - 14) Warehouse Sale at Suntec. Of course, I was there (on the first day!)… I am so in love with their Satsuma Body Polish. The sale started at 10 AM for their members and 11AM for non members. I am a member but I came a little late since I was not feeling well… Yes, I was not feeling well but I still went there to squeeze in! I had a sore throat and runny nose… again!!!

Anyways, there were so many people, as in! It took me almost an hour just to pay for my grabs. While on queque, I started to feel dizzy… I just said to myself that I should not faint! Gosh! For sure Alvin would laugh at me… maybe all our friends!

At first, I wanted to buy a bronzer since summer is coming… I want to have the effect of someone who had an Argentina travel leisure. But then again, don’t really like wearing make up because of my sensitive skin.

And then I wonder, is this cheaper compared to the ones in Manila???

BTW, Burberry and Charles&Keith are also having their warehouse sale! Hay, temptations!

As I said, I love to shop… for me and especially for Alvin! I am his personal shopper. When we are newly wed, I noticed that most of his office attire is all colored blue! Believe me, I am not exaggerating… in fairness to him, he got all shades of blue! So I started buying and organizing his office attire, now he got so many different colors. And guess what his favorite color is… Pink! (It’s the lighter shades of pink, huh!)

I usually buy his long sleeved shirts and pants from G2000. So every first day of the sale period, I must be present! This time, I wasn’t able to grab something for him… I only had the time to check something for him last weekend but no more small sizes. Imagine, during the GSS I got one pants for him at SGD49 but now the price is only SGD25! Maybe I’ll just wait for another end of season sale!
