I had my haircut done in one of the Salons along Orchard Road… Before my haircut, I looked like a big bowl and now I look like a soup cup! I can’t wait to be back in Manila! I want a decent haircut… My stylist from Manila is now the hair stylist of Kris Aquino! Gosh, I think he’s now a senior hairstylist… meaning, his price has also increased. But for sure, it’s still cheaper in Manila compared here…

After my haircut, I had a quick lunch/afternoon snack at Burger King. Am I really on a diet mode? In fairness, I just ordered their kids meal… cheeseburger, small sized soda and small French fries. In Manila, it’s a regular meal already. The smallest burger in their set meal is Whopper and they have these Stacker burger that have four patties and four slices of cheese!  Too fattening! If I’ll have that set meal for a snack, I really need to take Fentraphen afterwards or else…   I don’t want to think about it! Really unfair, huh!

We bought the LCD TV last 2006, we’ve used it for only 1 month! Still in a very good condition and it’s still in the box. By the way, it comes with a Home Theater.

We had the Canon IXUS last 2006. It comes with a camera leather case, an extra battery and 1GB Memory Card. It’s my personal camera but Alvin want’s to buy another DigiCam for me.

Yesterday, I received a message from one of my nephews… Asking me to help him in his resume! Gosh, of all people why me?! It’s been a long time since I updated my resume. I don’t want to count… but it’s already… nevermind!

But still, I want to help him… since it is just part of his English project in school, I gave in to his request! I told him that I’ll just search from the internet but I promised him that I’ll make some adjustments. Thanks to the internet and Manhattan resumes online!

Then I realized that he’s all grown up now… and I am getting older and older! I remember, Lolee and I used to watch him when he was still a baby. I am that old!

Just the other Saturday we watched Avenue Q the Musical at Esplanade Theater. Thanks to Alvin kulet, it was his idea… We had fun! The nginig puppets were really cute!

From one of the reviews: ”Avenue Q” To call it a ”puppet show” does it a disservice. ”’Sesame Street’ for grown-ups” isn’t right either. There’s no handy way to describe ”Avenue Q,” except as the furriest, and one of the funniest, shows you’re likely ever to see.

Avenue Q is a mythical NYC block where even English majors can afford to live. Apartments are rented out by TV’s Gary Coleman (played by a woman), and occupied by an endearing, oddball collection of people — kooky Christmas Eve and hapless hubby Brian — and puppets: sloppy Nicky, closeted Rod, lost soul Princeton, lovelorn Kate, porn-happy Trekkie Monster, and bimbo-licious Lucy The Slut.

Still, ”Q”’s not all cheap jokes and sordid sex. Just when you’re wheezing with laughter from questionably gay Rod’s ode to ”My Girlfriend, Who Lives in Canada,” you’re blindsided by a beautifully sincere love song. They may not have legs, but these puppets have heart.

By the way, all of the cast were Pinoy except for Brian and I’m so proud of it!  

Hopefully next year we can watch Lea Salonga in Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella at Esplanade Theater.  

For Christmas, we bought Crocs for our immediate family members. Don’t ask me how much I paid for them.

We were so excited to the point of asking my family to take a peek at our gifts… And I even blogged it! No element of surprise! Anyway, it’s the thought that counts… Sorry Lolee but as promised, I’ll still wrap them nicely!

Just the other weekend, we saw Oakley watches that caught our attention… a his and hers watch set. It’s quite small for a sporty watch but I find it very nice. I like it but buying another watch is not on our list… Budget! Budget! Budget! 

As of now, we’re halfway finished completing our Christmas gifts list. The problem is… how can we bring them all to Manila?!
