Clean-Up Project

Lolee and I used to share one bedroom… Up to now, I still have so many things in our room. Our room is a total mess!:D So many old clothes and shoes that we can never let go. We have  at last decided to clean our room and remove some unnecessary old stuffs before the year ends.

Today is the official first day of our clean-up project: Collection of old stuffs… Pile of clothes, shoes, toiletries, books, magazines, stuffed toys and basketball trophies of Pan:-/. We’re almost halfway done! So tired (again)I-)! Tomorrow will be another day of collection/final screening.:-SS

Now, we’re considering of joining a garage sale. Hmmm…

Back in the Philippines

Last Saturday, we flew from Singapore to Manila via Philippine Airlines… It was my first PAL experience and it was very disappointing!!![-( First: Alvin asked for a blanket for me and the flight attendant told him that she would check if there was still an available one but she never came back! Second: We asked for a pen and the flight attendant told us that there was no available pen! (Balatina! While I’m filling up our immigration card, nawalan ng tinta yung ballpen ko!) Third (worst nightmare): We had to wait for our baggage for almost two hours! There was only one conveyor for baggages from Singapore, Kansai, Xiamen and other domestic destinations! Imagine how disorganized was that!!!!~X(

Yesterday after lunch, we went to the mall with Nay, Tay and Lolee. For a snack, we ate at Goldilocks and then Gerry’s Grills at dinner time. We had deadly foods again:-S… Sisig, chichabits (chicharon) and a lot more. I miss the sisig! For now, no diet (as always). Maybe I’ll just start with my diet next year by studying the best diet pills!:)) That will be my New Year’s Resolution… studying (not dieting)!:P

The Season of… Eating!

Last night we attended the Sofgen’s Christmas Family Dinner at Marina Mandarin. As usual, we had a dinner feast!:)

Sofgen_Party

Tonight, we’ll have a dinner (again) get together with some friends in Marina Square.

Saturday, our flight back in Manila… We also have one Birthday Party invite from Alvin’s sister.

Sunday, no plans yet… For sure, my mom will prepare fattening/deadly foods (Alvin’s favorite) for us.

For this season, I think I’ll start taking fat burners:-w

Happy Eating!

Aren’t They Lovely?

Pets

Most of our neighbors are pet lovers… Every afternoon, there are lots of people taking a walk with their puppies or kittens. It’s one of the reasons why I don’t jog… I am afraid of their pets! Haha! What an excuse for me?!:P

Alvin is even considering owning a pet at home! Of course, I disagree (I am such a BF) :-O! Aside from the fact that I don’t really like pets, owning a pet in Singapore is very costly… But sometimes it seems that it’s cute to have a pet, probably a cat since the other day a saw a store that has a complete range of cat supplies and also sells adorable kittens. Still, I am undecided… :-?

Dead Tired!

Yup, I’m dead tired!(:| Since we’ll be going home on Saturday, I have to complete my Christmas gifts list… On my way home, I realized that it’s hard to be a personal shopper! Yeah, personal shopper since I have never bought anything for myself while Alvin bought a complete wardrobe. I seemed to have a difficult time finding something for myself… I told Alvin that if I wasn’t able to find anything before Friday, I’ll just buy a G bag even if I’m not really into G or C bag…  still a L for me?:-?

I am now a constant shopper of Orchard Road and CBD! I promised to myself that I will just take the MRT instead of calling a cab… I just realized that my one way fare (via cab) would almost be equal to one gift so I’ll just add a little more sacrifice. I can also take a bus but it would take me so looong. There is also an ongoing construction in some areas within Orchard and safety equipment are everywhere. It’s so kaka-stress walking around! :))

For now, I think I have to start packing our things… :)

Gift Grabbing

We attended a Pinoy Christmas Party here in SG. As usual, we had this most awaited gift grabbing… <:-P

Here’s the mechanics of our gift grabbing: Everybody was asked to bring a wrapped gift worth $15. The gifts was then placed in the middle. Everybody was given a number… the first one will take a gift and open it. The next one have an option to take a wrapped gift or take the one from the first guest and so on. The last person have an option of choosing the last wrapped gift or any of the gifts that had been opened. The number of gift grabs is limited to two grabs. :)

Our wrapped item: a jewelry box; we had a hard time buying our Christmas present since there were lots of cheap Christmas gifts that are on sale. Grabbed item: USB aroma diffuser fan; we initially wanted the table lamp but it was grabbed by someone else:(, Balatina! I remember last year, someone brought a paper shade table lamp that I think will perfectly fit in our living area:)). As usual, we’re not able to grab that gift!

Overall, it was a great party… lots of grabbing and stealing!:D

Munchy Donut

Munchy_donutI am not fond of doughnuts but I am starting to love it… It all started when Alvin bought half a dozen (because of 1 free doughnut and 1 can of coke:)) ) of assorted doughnuts last week. Since then, I’ve been craving for this Munchy Donut. I personally like this compared to Krispy Kreme… not too sweet and the filling is very very good. :D Really fattening!:P

Home Alone…

Just this afternoon, Nay went back to the Philippines. :( Now, I miss home… again. :( But the good news is that we’re going home on the 20th!<:-P

I just realized we were not able to follow our iteneraries but still we really had a great time:)… shopping, eating and eating! I remember when we were stranded in Vivo City, Lolee and Nay tried different massage chairs and equipment. We are all hoping to have that massage chair someday… someday (since it was very expensive :-O ). Was that cheaper compared to home theater seats? We even searched for discount home theater seating:) As if we’re going to buy! :D Well, that’s what you do when you’re stranded in a mall.:->

To Nay: Our home is very quiet again… For sure Tay and Pan missed your voice! Haha! Mat_!:))

Moving Out

We’ll be moving out again (for the nth time!)… March of next year!:( Up to now, Alvin’s company is still in search of a condo within East area, near MRT Station, fully furnished and with a reasonable rent.

Time to pack our things again… Hopefully our next house will be like our first house in Fort Road with an oven;;) . I love the spacious room, the kitchen and the bathroom… Alvin personally like the bathroom, the shower faucets and the tiles.:)

For now, I think I’ll need to send some of our unnecessary things back in Manila. :D

Super Busy

vivo1I am so busy since Lolee and Nay is here… they arrived last Saturday AM and they will be staying for a couple of days.:) Since then, I haven’t been able to check my mails and write something for my blog.

Vivo2We are in a mall hopping mode right now;) (soo tired!). We were not able to follow our planned iteneraries since the weather was not good last weekend (as always Balatina!:D ). Lolee will leave on the 3rd day of December (1 week ahead of Nay) since she has work to attend to… :(  Yesterday was supposedly our Sentosa day but then again it was raining very hard so we just shop (again:D ) and grabbed a quick bite at Carl’s Junior in Vivo City.

Vivo3On our way to Vivo City, our cab driver forgot to turn his taxi meter on. He just noticed it halfway our journey. We felt sorry for him… The taxi meter was less than $6, we gave him $11 but he returned $4. He said that it was too much…

Lolee and Nay was delighted by the cab driver’s attitude. Sorry to say but in Manila, Alvin and I always experience overcharging by taxi drivers. There are also many reports of taxi hold up incidents/crimes:(. Since Lolee’s working schedule is always on a night shift, we advised her to bring self defense products. Still, it is best to give the valuables rather than fight or argue with them… I just hope that the LTO will be strict enough in giving license to drivers and cab operators.:)
