Alvin and I went out again last Saturday… when we left the house, we didn’t have any specific idea of where to go. We were thinking of either going to Lau Pa Sat, Orchard or Marina Square. When we arrived at the bus stop, we were still undecided. So, our final decision… we would hop in the first bus to arrive.

In the bus, we were still undecided but since the bus would alight in City Hall, we could still go to Lau Pa Sat or Marina Square. But since it was too humid when we alighted in City Hall, we just decided to have our dinner at Belly’s Marina Square. Finally!After our dinner, we decided to have a cup of coffee at Starbucks but no seats were available… we just ended up seating near the river at Esplanade to take some pictures (again).

Gosh, look at me… so fat! I really need to consider taking diet pills.

The swine flu outbreak is really scary… Tsk. Tsk. For the past few weeks, I’ve been checking airline promos and considering to take a short vacation in Manila or Macau. I am even browsing for unique hotels in Macau for accomodation but with the current situation, I don’t think we will pursue with any travel plan. Hay!

For the past months, I’ve been suffering from sore throat… as in monthly! I remember the last time I had my check up at Raffles Clinic, the doctor asked me if I travelled out of Singapore. What if I did? Will they put me under quarantine? Afraid! So for now, we’re stuck here.

Every Friday Alvin and I go out on a ‘food date’. Takaw! Yesterday, we ate at RiverWalk Tandoor, an Exclusive Fine Indian Cuisine. Gosh, I was so full again! As in!

We liked the chicken tikka and the crispy fried okra (I forgot the name). I personally liked the yucky looking greenish thing… actually, I don’t know what it is. It is similar to our local kesong puti minus the extreme sourness. Alvin and I had two servings of the main course. Super takaw! Lately, everyday is a no-diet day for me since Alvin is on leave, we eat out almost everyday!

After the super full meal, Alvin and I walked along Boat Quay to take some pictures… I super love my camera! Look:

Now, I need to search online for tuxedos that my nephew has been asking from me.

We bought an everyday camera, a Lumix LX3… I love my new camera!

Last Sunday, Pat handed me her Muhlach’s Ensaymada Pasalubong. It was what I requested from her. Thanks Pat! We met at Suntec and had dinner at Fish & Co. with Alvin, Edward and Bing. We ordered two sets of sample Platters, each for two persons… As usual, I was so full (as always). I love the prawns. Yummy!

It is so hot now, very humid! The weather makes me sick and… lazy! Gosh, I wish we have ceiling fans at home especially in the kitchen. I really can’t the stand the heat! Arte!

- I slept late, around 2AM as I tried to search for best acne treatments in the internet.

- Sleepy… Where’s the alarm! Ingay!

Hay… bored. Alvin’s here, busy studying… bawal mag usap!

I noticed that I easily get sick lately… So I’ve started taking multivitamins again and an additional dosage of Vitamin C and nutritional foods. It seems ironic but when I eat regularly, the more I become sickly. Should I start my diet again? I think I’ll just increase my fruit intake… Since the summer heat is on, why not come up with fruit shakes to beat the summer heat? Hmm…

So the other day, I went to PP to look for an undermount sink and buy strawberries for fruit shakes but I ended up buying so many fruits! I bought honey mandarin, green mangoes and two packs of strawberries. I also wanted to buy Taiwan fruit (which looked like a giant custard apple), watermelon and rock melon but I had so many things in my grocery bag already and it was so heavy! Maybe next time… If only my Mom was here, for sure she’ll be ecstatic with the fruits that are on season.

Since its very hot now… here are some of my favorite fresh fruit juices and shakes, those I’ve done before, which everybody will surely like: Apple-Carrot-Orange Juice, Orange Juice, Strawberry Milk Shake and Avocado Shake.

Finally, I was able to go out! Alvin took an afternoon leave and had his hair cut at Azami Barber Shop in UE Square with me… While he was at the Barber Shop, I took some snacks at Bakerzin. I missed eating sweets. Actually, I just ordered a slice of bread instead of cake since I still have cough. After eating, I followed him at the Barber Shop… gosh, I super envied him! He seemed super relaxed with aunties’ massage while I, on the other hand was trying not to fall asleep on the couch!

After that we directly headed to Funan, as usual he bought another accessory for his MacBook Pro and still in search of KVM switches that we will use at home… We had our dinner at Thai Express in Raffles city. I had the BBQ Thai Beef and Alvin had the Shrimp Paste Fried Rice. Oh, I miss eating!!! For dessert, we had Ben & Jerry’s ice cream! I hope my cough won’t get worse.

Since I’ve been sick for almost a week now, Alvin and I have been experimenting on it… Look at what we’ve got:

I am so bored! Up to now, I’m still not allowed to go out… I still have cough and feel slightly dizzy. Gosh, this is the worst cough I’ve had in my life!

Oh my! I miss going out, blogging, going to the grocery and shopping! Actually, I have so many important things in my list that need to be done immediately. First is to look for TV stands. We badly need one for our bedroom… the one that we are using now is not strong enough to hold our TV. Second is to do some grocery! We don’t have any foods at home! Hay, housewife duties!

Hopefully, I’ll get better soon…
