Dinner at Central

Last Sunday my dad called to request for price lists of safety products that they will be using in their office; he just wants to compare the prices… But before anything else, Alvin and I decided to have an early dinner:D. I wanted to buy noodles in one of the stalls in PP’s food court but to my dismay, the stalls were replaced by roasted ducks!:( Balatino! So we just ate at Central, I ordered the dry beef brisket noodles and Alvin ordered the crispy sea foods noodle. The food was not good! I hate the smell of my noodles, so iwww (smells like pee)!:-& Alvin also didn’t like his noodles… :(

After our not so good dining experience, Alvin told me that we already dined at Central in Takashimaya once and as usual the food was not great!:-S

Katas ng Paluwagan

Alvin joined the Paluwagan in his office… it was organized by his Pinoy office mates. Every month they pay SGD200 and the take home money is SGD 2800. Instead of keeping the money, we bought a microwave oven and a garment steamer. We’ve been thinking of buying a microwave oven since we moved here but still we are having second thoughts… we don’t want to have so many things in tow whenever we move out. For the garment steamer, it was my idea (of course) to keep our clothes in top condition for a long period of time. Honestly, it is not easy to use:(… maybe I should practice more. Just like before, it took me months figuring out how to iron Alvin’s loong sleeved shirts and even his pants. Well, housewife duties… :)

So tired, but still, I need to look for life insurance leads that have 24/7 internet access… my new assignment from Alvin.

*Paluwagan - pooling money where members take turn in bringing home the accumulated amount every month.

Finally Home

I’m just glad that finally I’m home in Singapore with Alvin… I was not able to go home as scheduled since my paternal grandmother passed away on the day before my scheduled flight.

As planned, I was able to complete my tasks… filing a home loan and the loan was already approved. So for the mean time, no luxury items and trips. Speaking of trips, I saw the orlando fl hotel packages and they are very tempting:-SS. Hmmm… Well, three years of saving is not a long time; just a little sacrifice for our future homeO:-).

Yay, I miss home… especially Alvin! Anyway, I had so much stuffs that I brought for him. My baggage weighed 26.5Kl and it was mostly made up of foods since he was complaining that he lost some weight.

Thank you God for the safe trip. Feels good to be home with my Alvin. :)

Torn

This is a long over due thoughts… :)

I am experiencing a hard time choosing between Mac Book or the B bag that I’ve been wanting for quite some time now… Of course, Alvin is voting for Mac Book since he is not even allowing me to use his Mac Book but my personal choice… the B bag!:D

Well, as you can see my Vaio is deteriorating everyday… Buying a top of the line Vaio is more expensive than Mac Book. The B bag is cheaper than Mac Book but B bag is limited in Singapore and Manila. Hmmm… I have to decide now! My friend will go to the US and maybe I can ask her to buy me that B bag that I’ve been eyeing. But still, I am not sure if she can accommodate my request since their orlando vacations will be very hectic. Hmmm… which is which??? :-/

Shakey’s

I want the chicken and mojos from Shakey’s that I’ve been seeing over and over on televisions! Seems so good… When I was in college, it was my favorite! But when I graduated, I never had the chance to dine again at Shakey’s. Gosh, it’s been ages! Honestly, I thought Shakey’s closed already.:-S

Since Lolee promised to treat me on Friday… maybe we’ll just eat there to see if the food in Shakey’s still taste the same: the chicken, mojos and spaghetti. Well, I never liked their pizza anyway.:-P Yummy! Can’t wait for Friday’s pig out with Lolee.:D

Down With Colds

It’s been almost a week that I’ve been here in the Philippines… particularly in Bulacan. As usual, I’m just stuck at home. You see, the weather is not so good… what a very unpredictable weather! And I also have colds:(… my mom is the virus carrier!

Instead of going out and spreading the virus, I’ve just been staying at home and sleeping the whole day. I also don’t have the appetite to eat… I hate my colds, I cannot breathe properly. And worst, my plans are spoiled. I cannot even help my nephew in doing his research about his malignant Mesothelioma project. And worst, I cannot eat what I like… So sad; sick and missing my baby boy!:((

Hopefully, I’ll get better soon before I go back in Singapore… O:-)

My Shopping List

A few days ago, my mom and I went shopping in Makati… well, I just bought some pasalubong for my baby boy and I still need to do some grocery shopping. What can I say? I miss shopping in Manila!!! It’s still cheaper to shop in Manila compared in Singapore… if you are looking for branded stuffs, the prices in Singapore are way cheaper especially during sale periods.;)

A few more days and I’ll be leaving again… but still, my shopping list/food list:D is not yet complete.:-> Hopefully, I’ll get better soon so that I can shop to the maximum level!:D I still need to buy Purefoods corned beef (our favorite), sinigang instant mix, bottled sardines, green mangoes, hotdogs and chicken longganisa. For myself, I’ll check if Dansko shoes is cheaper here compared in Singapore. So many things to buy and yet I don’t have any money!:)) I forgot my Philippine issued ATM in Singapore.:-?
