F1 Race

Today is the start of F1 Race and yet I am still bound to stay at home. On the other hand, Alvin got the three days Walkabout Pass to the said event. I am somehow thankful that I did not buy myself a ticket before or else I’ll be having problems disposing them.:)

For three days I’ll just be staying home… Well, what’s new? Personally, I am not so sad after all and I’m not even bored to just stay home. I really need to take lots of care and rest for my Baby A. Still, I want Alvin to enjoy the race and take pictures to relax a bit.

So for now, I’ll just watch the F1 Race on TV… and of course the ending of Tayong Dalawa Teleserye. I maybe stuck at home all the time but believe me, I’ve got so many things to do; I need to find samples of home insurance quotes, read my pregnancy book and not to mention the never ending household chores that I need to finish.

To everybody: Have a nice weekend!:)

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

I am too lazy to blog lately since I’ve been too busy with so many things… First, I am not feeling well; blame it to hormonal change. Second, I don’t have any thing to write; I am under house arrest. Third, I don’t have the appetite to eat so no more posts regarding new foods that we have tried over the weekend. Lastly, I am not in the mood to shop!:-S

You may be wondering on what’s happening to me… Well, as I have said, I’ve been going through hormonal changes:">. Well, even though the first trimester is not yet over, I am very happy to announce that we are now expecting a baby! I just hope that everybody will join us in prayer for a safe and healthy pregnancy… that Baby A will be a healthy and normal baby.:)

Since I am in the critical stage of my pregnancy, Alvin and I cancelled our supposed to be two weeks vacation in Manila… I am also trying to live a healthy lifestyle and I really watch my diet now. I may not be experiencing horrible morning sickness but my condition is not that well during night time. I also stopped taking other vitamins aside from folic acid as advised by my OG. As of now, I don’t have any food cravings… Lolee even told me that I should avoid eating dark colored foods for me to have a fair complexioned baby.:))

So for now, I don’t have any excuse to diet… Maybe after Baby A comes out, I will start looking on how to lose belly fat faster!:D

Have a good day and may God bless us all!:-*

How to Save Lost Files?

Alvin’s three years old HP notebook is not working again:(… Since Alvin has a MacBook Pro, we’ve been using the HP as our back up notebook and as my photo editor since all my camera software are installed in his HP. In it’s three years of existence, the mother board has been replaced twice!:-S I am just glad that we availed an additional two years warranty for the said notebook.

It’s been almost three weeks since I brought the notebook to the service center and Alvin already collected the notebook last week but still, we cannot use it since the charger was not yet replaced! We are still waiting for their call up to now… :-w

I am very eager to see if my files are still in that notebook… I was not able to back up all the pictures since the death of his notebook is so sudden!:-> Only a few photos that I intend to use for my blog were saved in my online backup!:-S :-S :-S Is there a way to save lost files? :-/

His extended warranty will also end this November… I just hope that everything will be ok before the warranty expires. Well, good luck!:">

Hungry Mode

Alvin will come home late tonight… I mean early morning, as in 1AM! So I am home alone watching Spiderman 3 at AXN, cleaning my hard disk and looking for term life insurance quotes / proposals submitted by an agent a long time ago. :)

My notebook is so slow. I need to reformat it again and remove unwanted files and programs. And then, I came across some materials for my blog that I haven’t posted… pictures of foods that make me hungry! It’s already late and yet I am still hungry!!! :((

Well, here are some of the pictures that will also make you hungry!:D

Not in the Mood…

After a week of trying to cook some new dishes, I felt exhausted and tired(:|. Actually, I am just not in the mood to move around the kitchen… And since Alvin and I needed to look for Murray Feiss lighting, we just had our dinner at Koo Kee Dumpling & Ramen House Restaurant in PP.

KooKee

We had the cripy chicken in special sauce, steamed dumplings and yang chow fried rice. The chicken in special sauce is a must try :) though the fried rice is very oily.

Well, this place is starting to be Alvin’s favorite place in PP.:D

Weekend Pig Out

Can somebody please recommend good diet pills that are out in the market today? As you can see, I haven’t posted anything for quite some time now since Alvin and I are always on the go… taking pictures and eating a lot!:D

Last Saturday, we dined at Hamsa. Hamsa is a newly opened Indian Restaurant along East Coast Road… We had Lamb, Naan and Briyani Rice with Chicken. Service was not that great, it took some time before our orders arrived considering that only a few tables were occupied. When we finally had our food, people started arriving and almost all tables were occupied… And when we were almost finished, people in nearby tables were starting to complain about the long wait. Bad impression.:-S

Hamsa

With regards to taste, the food is ok… but nothing special.:)

And came Sunday, we had Indian Buffet (again) at Riverwalk Indian Tandoori!;)

This is what you call weekend pig out!:">

Lunch @ Bakerzin

Last week, Alvin and I passed by several travel road shows. As usual, there were so many people booking their vacation get aways. Gosh, I just wish that Alvin and I will have the time and budget to go on a Branson vacations at the very least. Honestly, Alvin and I can pull some extra cash for vacation alone… meaning no shopping! But visiting a new place and not buying anything is soo sad!:((

Instead of looking into tempting travel offers; we just ate at Bakerzin.:) This time, I tried the Sea Food Pasta and Alvin had the Pork Chop (again). As usual I was so full… no more space for desserts!;;) I love Bakerzin!:x

Cooking Buddy

When I went back home here in SG, I brought along with me a cooking buddy… Mama Sita’s Cook Book. Well, at first I was very eager to try some Filipino dishes that were featured in the said cook book but as I was browsing, I noticed that most of the sauces are made up of Mama Sita’s ready mixes. Oh my, I forgot that Mama Sita’s into ready mixed sauces:-S! Anyways, as of now, I only tried two dishes; Lumpiang Shanghai (Chinese Spring Rolls) and Diced Chicken with Cashew Nuts since the ingredients only call for oyster sauce and some soya sauce.

Chicken with Cashew

According to Alvin, they’re quite good… at least they are something new. And now, I want to buy another cook book, a Chinese cook book. And yesterday I started my hunt for another book… I went to two stores and spent a lot of time reading so many books. Well, I was not able to buy any since I was looking for a particular book that I had read sometime ago in Kinokuniya.

I really don’t know but when I came back, I was really in the mood to cook… to bake and to eat!:) Honestly, it’s me who wants new sets of dishes or something that I haven’t tried cooking before. Hmm… the kitchen is now really my place. And for now, I am thinking of swithching into using a stone sink rather that the usual stainless steel sink for our home. Of course, it all again depends on our budget…;;)
