Baby A’s Update…

I had my check up last Saturday and Baby A is… a BOY! He is APJ = Alvin Paul Junior (and from the very famous FPJ:)) )! We have a name for him already (not APJ, ok?!) but I am still thinking of another… It’s not easy to think of a name that my Baby A will bear for the rest of his life!:)

It's-a-Boy!

My detailed scan appointment will be next year already (since we are going on a Christmas Holiday)… Praying that Baby A is a very healthy boy!:)

After Two Years…

Last week, Alvin received an email from Ace Insurance Philippines regarding his claims dated two years ago/:). We submitted all the requirements needed since November of 2007 and constantly sent emails to follow up for almost a year and then I gave up:-<… And now, they are asking again for original receipts that were issued by the hospital! Gosh, I really need to look into my files again (here and in Manila) and send them the acknowledgement copy as a proof that we have submitted all the requirements needed. Just wish me luck!!!#-o

Honestly, I am having this thought of terminating his accident and health insurance since Alvin’s company provides an international medical insurance that covers both out-patient and in-patient cases. And who would want to continue with that kind of customer service?[-(

For myself, I am still thinking of acquiring a Blue Advantage Health Plan and at the same time, continue with my Health Plan in Manila that is renewed yearly… though I haven’t used it that much. But thanks anyway, I am always in good shape. :)

CLUB 21 Cardmembers’ Preview

Today is the members preview of Club21 End of Season Sale. Members are also entitled to an additional 10% off. As usual, I was very itchy to go to the said event but it had been raining the whole day… so I had no choice but to stay at home:(. And since I’ll be having my check up on Saturday, it is a good excuse to shop since Gleneagles is just a few meters away from Orchard. So sorry my dear Alvin, you have no choice but to go to Orchard! Anyway, don’t worry since I am planning to get something for your Christmas porma! :)

Club21

Club21 sale is worth a visit if you are into designer items… :D***But still, I miss Greenhills Christmas Bazaar… the cheap girly stuffs and some export over runs.;;)

Christmas in the City

Last Saturday, Alvin and I went to Orchard just to see the Christmas light up along Orchard Road… I even got more excited for my Baby A to see those lights next Christmas! Well, that is if we are still here in SG… :)

This is our picture in Ngee Ann City… I love the giant Christmas Tree!

*I still don’t look like a pregnant Mama… just a fat Mama who badly needs slimming pills! :))

SITEX 2009

Sitex2009

All of a sudden I found myself searching for the next IT show in Singapore… and I’m getting more excited knowing that the next one will be very soon! The SITEX 2009 will be on November 26-29, just a couple of weeks from now and it will be held in Singapore Expo. Though I cannot come personally since it will be jam-packed with a lot of people (as expected), Alvin gladly agreed to grant my request to go there and check some laptops… Though I have a personal choice already; Vaio or MacBook, I still want him to check out the freebies. Yay, as if I will buy now!:-P

Pissed Off

I already collected Alvin’s HP notebook a couple of weeks ago but still, I am not yet satisfied… I cannot even use it to access our external hard drive and it is too slow; even slower than my Vaio8-|. Alvin had several laptop computers before and this HP is the worst! Imagine, in just a span of three years, the mother board has been replaced twice! We are just thankful that we availed the additional warranty for an extra $$$.

When we bought that HP, the price was almost the same as with the MacBook. Now, we have regrets for not getting the MacBook instead. Oh, I remember the reason why he was not interested in MacBook then. It was because he could not install the programs that he uses in his work.:)

Oh, I really need a new notebook… Lulu’s partner! Hello, Santa Claus!;;)

Morning Dilemma

Before I found out that I am expecting a baby, I had waken up every morning with a dry throat and blocked nose:-&. Blame it on the dust and the quality of air in our room; it was too dry… later I found out that its not only me but also Alvin who is experiencing that morning trauma.:-S

Oh, don’t think that our room is very dusty… We have an auntie who cleans our house and I always change our beddings once every week. So it must be something else… And since haze is common here in Singapore, we decided to invest in a good air filter. With so many air filters in the market today, Alvin decided to buy the Samsung Brand but was then persuaded by the sales consultant to buy the Honeywell brand. Well, the Honeywell brand is one of the leaders in terms of air purifiers but the design is very old fashioned and bulky; no porma at all!:">

After using it for almost three months now, I can say that we are somewhat satisfied… no more morning dilemma of clogged nose.:->

Sale! Sale! Sale!

Robinson

The Robinsons Expo Sale is now on and I want to go!!!;;) On the other hand, I am having second thoughts since I don’t know what to buy… I still have perfumes and I am not using any of them now; I don’ want to buy clothes or shoes for myself since I’m starting to get bigger; we will no longer buy Christmas gifts here and I am trying to save! But still, I want to go and look for something to buy… perhaps a new Samsonite luggage since our old bags need replacement, some Vitamin C for Alvin and some chocolates! So go na!:D
***

Kate Spade

I got this from Alvin. Sounds good but I don’t want to go since I am not that into Kate Spade items. Though some designs are good; I am still not convinced since I am not familiar with the place and I don’t have cash! :)
***

Zara

If I’m not pregnant, I’m going to check this one… I’ve read that most of the clothes are from Zara! Hmmm… Maybe next time!:->
***
Too many temptations, not to mention the several special Christmas brochures from Ikea and Carrefour. I want to put up my Christmas tree again.;)

This is really the start of a Merry Merry Christmas!!!:x

Craving for Kimchi

Last Saturday, I accompanied my dear hubby in Funan Mall for his Xbox replacement and for lunch… We just ate at the food court and I had my favorite Hot Stone Bibimbap. This is one of the reasons why I keep coming back to Funan… I love the Bibimbap and the Kimchi there. I didn’t even research if Kimchi is ok for me! :"> Gosh, I just hope so… And while feasting on it, I kept on thinking that Kimchi is such a healthy food anyway!:D

There are so many foods that I crave for… Lemon Iced Tea, Chips, Sushi Rolls, Corned Beef and lots of processed foods! Hay, after Baby A pops out I’ll drag Alvin in an international Buffet to pig out.:)) I just hope that weight loss products will work on me by that time! But for now, I need to be healthy for my dear Baby A. :D
