Lunch at Friday’s

Friday's1

Alvin and I had a late lunch at T.G.I. Friday’s at Glorietta 3 before looking for pond supplies that my Dad requested. As usual, it was just me and Alvin since Lolee decided not to come with us and just slept the whole day. Anyways, Friday’s sucks!L-) I ordered garlic chicken pasta primadora and Alvin had one piece of pork chop in Jack Daniel’s sauce with mashed potato. My pasta sauce tasted like it freshly came ‘out of the can’! And Alvin’s pork chop was a total disaster; the pork chop was very gristly and the mashed potato was as hard as a ball! For Friday’s price, they should have at least served a decent meal.#:-S

December

December is such a busy month… Aside from Christmas, there are numerous birthday celebrations in our family, wedding anniversaries which of course includes our own! I remember how Alvin and I prepared for our wedding; from the wedding invitations up to the small details. And now, a few more days and we’ll be celebrating our fourth wedding anniversary! Time flies so fast!

As you can see, there are so many things that I should be thankful for… 2009 has been quite a good year; a not so perfect but blessed year for us. Praying that 2010, as well as the succeeding years, will be a blissful year.:)

To all, have a blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year! Cheers!:)

This season is stressing me out… almost a week left and we’ll be back in Manila and yet I’m only halfway finished with my gifts list. I easily get tired again… and I really don’t want to exhaust myself.:-S

Up to now, I still don’t know what to give to other members of the family. I am just planning to get generic gifts; custom usb drive, shirts, chocolates and anything fancy. I still have a looong list… and worst I haven’t bought anything for myself. Sadness.8-}

Fully Booked

Our December is fully booked… too many family get together’s, foods and gifts!;;)

  • Lola’s Birthday
  • Wedding Anniversary of my Parents
  • Post -Christmas Party with my Dad’s Siblings
  • And most importantly, our fourth wedding Anniversary and Alvin’s Birthday early next year!<:-P

OMG, I really need to watch my diet!:-S And to my Lolee, I have a good present for you that you will surely love… weight loss pills!:-P

Pasta de Waraku

We were supposed to watch New Moon last Friday but we arrived late at Golden Village, Marina Square… so our booking was cancelled.(:|So as not to spoil the day, we just treated ourselves to Pasta de Waraku. I ordered Cream Vongole and Strawberry Sundae while Alvin had the Hamburg Ebi Set.

Pasta de Waraku

This was just our snack but we were so full!:D I had to skip my dinner and had fruits only while Alvin had Instant Pancit Canton and a glass of coke! I envied him… I miss eating instant noodles!#:-S

I’ve been having so many food cravings lately… those ‘bawal‘! While my dear Alvin enjoys those foods… Hay! As early as now, I am scheduling buffet dinners for Alvin after I give birth to Baby A. So now, I need recommendations for the best weight loss supplements that I will be needing during the postnatal pig out!:))

On Buying Baby Things…

I’m just on my 18th week and yet I’m so excited to shop for my dear Baby A. Before, I was advised by my Mom not to buy any stuff for Baby A before the 7th month (old wives tales) and then she suddenly changed her mind… she said that I should buy basic things before the 7th month since some mommies give birth on their 7th month. Ano ba talaga??? :-?

Anyways, I am planning to buy some basic clothes for Baby A early next year… I’ll buy the basic whites in Manila since it is cheaper there. I am also starting to organize the things that I should buy and then I realized that baby stuffs are so expensive!8-|

A few more weeks and we’ll be back in Manila… so before that, I should be able to buy a box with a cover for Baby A’s stuffs (or should I buy the organizer that I saw in an office furniture store?) Oh my, I should be heading to Ikea now but I can’t… We are still unsure if our agent can negotiate with our landlord. Who knows, we might be transferring to another house again! Please, no!(:|

It’s almost Christmas and yet I’ve never bought anything yet! We still don’t have gifts to anybody… Oh and my family in Manila already started their Christmas shopping! I’m soooo late!:-SS
